care company expands

A healthcare provider has embarked on an ambitious expansion strategy with backing of £1m from its new banking partner, The Royal Bank of Scotland.

The Partnership of Care Ltd was founded five years ago by husband and wife, Scott and Janine Darling. With a base in Ystrad Mynach, near Caerphilly, the business operates across the South Wales valleys.

The business has two arms. The domiciliary care operation provides a service to its mainly elderly clients within the county borough of Caerphilly. They also provide residential, supported living and daytime services to clients with a learning disability.

Scott and Jane are keen to expand and develop further this area of the business.

They share the ambition of becoming market leaders in both their fields.

Andrew Tummon, RBS business development manager, from the healthcare team based in Cardiff, provided a bespoke funding solution to consolidate existing debt, together with an acquisitive facility, which will be used to buy further residential properties which can be converted into supported living operations.

The couple currently operate from four sites housing seven service users and also provide specialist daytime opportunity services from a unit they have set up.

Scott Darling, The Partnership of Care Ltd, said: "We are currently actively preparing our next exciting project, reassured by the support, advice and product range offered by the team."
