Euro Commercials, South Wales' only dedicated Mercedes Benz commercial dealer, has invested in a massive new complex in Newport to serve the fast-growing city and south east Wales.
The £50m-a-year business has relocated its Newport operation from Malpas to the city's Corporation Road commercial district, a stone's throw from the new southern distributor road.
The 1.5 acre site which accommodates almost 9,000 sq ft of vehicle maintenance, sales and office buildings replace Euro-Commercials' former site which has been disposed of to a hotel group. The new site has a greater capacity to park vehicles and provides better access for all of the Mercedes-Benz commercial range.

Chris Anthony, managing director of Euro Commercials, said: "We had outgrown the depot in Malpas Road which we acquired from BT more than 10 years ago. However, we were keen to make the right decision and not rush into a move.
"Corporation Road was always on the top of our shopping list for a new Newport base and we are delighted to have secured this site."
The company's investment in new premises in the last 12 months now runs well into seven figures and includes the revamp of depots in Ipswich Road Cardiff, Viking Way, Swansea, and Brynmenyn Industrial Estate, Bridgend.
