Leading discrimination lawyer Eleanor Williams, of Darwin Gray Solicitors, recently gave a speech in Paris at the launch of a French initiative to combat race discrimination in employment. It opened her eyes to a central aspect of British culture. The British have a very particular attitude to where they live. Michael Nutt, from Pontypool, is a consultant upper gastrointestinal surgeon. Appointed consultant surgeon West Wales Hospital in 2002, he moved to the Royal Gwent in 2005. Michael has recently taken up a position as a consultant at the new private, specialist gastroenterology unit, Nucleus Healthcare, based at Celtic Springs, which opened in January. The unit is headed by leading UK gastroenterologist Dr Manny Srivastava.
