packages to enjoy ryder cup

Ryder Cup Europe has finalised plans for corporate hospitality when golf's greatest team event is held at The Celtic Manor Resort in September 2010.

Co-ordinated by Ryder Cup Hospitality 2010 Ltd, the hospitality arm of Ryder Cup Europe LLP, the plans involve the construction of several multi-storey hospitality structures on specially-created sites overlooking the 16th and 17th holes.

The Kidwelly Suites adjacent to the 16th fairway and green and the Conwy Club which overlooks the 17th green have panoramic views across almost the entire Twenty Ten course in the picturesque Usk Valley.

Packages will include daily Ryder Cup ground admission tickets, breakfast on arrival, Champagne reception, three-course lunch with wine, complimentary bar throughout the day, afternoon tea and an official programme.

David Watt, of Ryder Cup Hospitality 2010 Ltd, said: "The hospitality areas will provide outstanding views of The Ryder Cup action as it unfolds across The Twenty Ten course. In Ireland in 2006 when the event was played at The K Club, 40,000 people enjoyed bespoke hospitality that matched the incredibly high quality of golf played by both teams.

"In such an intoxicating atmosphere of high drama and great theatre it is easy to understand why more and more people see Ryder Cup hospitality as the must- have' corporate ticket and the best way to entertain top clients.

"The level of service is unparalleled and Ryder Cup Europe prides itself on offering the finest quality food and wine to further enhance the whole experience and ensure and exceptional day of sporting entertainment."

The biennial match, which began life in 1927, is recognised as the greatest team contest in the world of golf and attracts a global audience with pictures transmitted into more than three quarters of a billion homes around the world.

The Twenty Ten course has been built specially to stage the event.
