Welsh bakery Brace's has strengthened its team with five new appointments at its two bakeries in Crumlin.
Gaynor Webb, 37, joins as HR manager after 10 years HR experience at Malmaison Hotels. She will be responsible for developing and delivering the HR strategy, from recruitment and selection, to developing skills and managing change.
Steve Chapman, 35, has taken the role of key account manager. Dean Prosser, 34, has been appointed factory manager at the bakery's Croespenmaen site. Steven Morgan, 49, joins the team as technical manager. Ceri Knight, 27, secured the position of PR executive where she will look after the press and media relations in Wales and the south west.
Scott Richardson, sales and marketing director at the family baker, said: "These key appointments reflect the high calibre of staff that we recruit to help continue our drive for expansion. Much of our success has been down to recruiting and retaining the right people and we invest heavily in training programmes, regularly giving staff the opportunity to develop their potential and achieve recognised qualifications."
Established in 1902, Brace's is run by the fourth generation of the family and prides itself on delivering the finest and freshest mouth-watering bakery products. With a reputation for quality, the company's 50-strong product range - including its best selling medium and thick sliced white bread - is already stocked by more than 3,000 stores.
