Allison is to look after property
Caerphilly county borough council has appointed a property manager to look after the authority's property portfolio.
Allison Ward, pictured, said: "I'm delighted to have been given the opportunity to take on this exciting position with one of the leading local authorities in Wales. Caerphilly county borough offers a wide range of properties for all types and sizes of business and I'm keen to do my bit to help bring new investment into the area in the future."
Allison's interest in the property market started when she was on a Youth Training Scheme at the former Torfaen Borough Council. The role gave her the opportunity to gain new skills and learn more about property management.
With her family and work commitments, she gained various vocational qualifications through open learning - a notoriously hard way to achieve the necessary credentials, but testament to her tenacity and determination to work in Industrial and Commercial Property sector.
